An album of noises and drones for meditation/assplay. Ideas I've been exploring in increasingly large margins since 1999 are for now the entire focus. The music was composed using the same principles as ever. With the exception of "Evil Tries to Take the Baby", which progresses from a motif of just three notes performed by myself, everything you hear comes from a sample: vinyl records, movies, field recordings. Mostly field recordings.

A few goals:
-Facilitation of a contemplative/meditative state in the listener--the music here is not an end; it is a portal
-Non-musical sources
-Deconstruction of the idea of "sample looping" into its most basic atomic form; reduction of samples to timbre and extension of that timbre into a drone
-Divorce of the sound from its source; transformation, if not through the method detailed above, then through either direct manipulation or juxtaposition
-Creation of musical moments through incidental synchronicity of unrelated sounds, or as I like to call them: "clues"
